Professional Pictures, Pediatrician, Wedding

Here is the link to see Bailey's first "professional" photos, taken at the hospital, one day old.

Her visit to the pediatrician went well. Her jaundice is apparently under control and not a concern. Her weight was 7 lbs 1 oz, so she hasn't lost any weight since leaving the hospital, which is good because my milk hadn't come in yet when we left.

Speaking of which, the feeding is going much, much better. We are down to just supplementing with maybe a half ounce of formula at a time, at the end of feedings. She eats very, very slowly but it gives Mommy lots of time to hold her ;)

Here are our most recent pictures, from our adventure to the pediatrician and a wedding Jonathon and I went to last night (just the ceremony, Bailey stayed at our house with Gram and Grampa, but I couldn't miss it for anything!) The bride was absolutely beautiful and it was a lovely ceremony. Darn postpartum hormones, I started crying when the first song played and the grandmothers walked in!

And just a few pictures around the house. How many pictures of a sleeping baby can we take? I am ridiculously, completely, and totally in love with her.

So interesting that Bailey is only 2 lbs and .5 inches smaller than my almost four month old baby! I love the hospital pics. I knew you'd go all out with her outfit. I love pic 3 with the hair bow and her hands close to her face. I am so proud that you actually made it to the wedding without freaking out. I couldn't leave N's side for months. Then again, I was nutso with hormones. So glad you are doing so well. I cannot wait for our first playdate.

so sweet. Love the hair bows. Did her cord fall off already? How long do they usually stay on?

Her cord isn't off yet- the picture just doesn't show the little brown stumpy thing. They take the clip off of it after like 24 hours but I think it takes like two weeks for the stub to fall off. She HATES having it cleaned!

Post-partum hormones SUCK! I never really had the depression per se (at least not after my preg with Gavin), but I cried at the drop of a hat. Irrational crying is the worst, especially for people who aren't the weepy types usually. I cried over the stupidest crap. Freakin' TV commercials could get me misty-eyed and you know I am not the "sensitive" type!

Bailey is beautiful. And I love the Mama Bear look on your face at the ped's office. You look half terrified and half pissed-off! :-)

How are you dressing her on these warmer days? Onesies? or warmer-- I had a winter baby so I'm not sure
